THE NEXT REP
Cookies

Your cookies. Your choice.

Plain-language cookie policy for The Next Rep.

The short version

We ask before loading Google Analytics. Accept or reject analytics in the cookie banner; either choice leaves free workbooks and lesson requests available.

We do not use advertising pixels. Analytics is configured with advertising storage, Google signals, and ad personalization disabled.

What we store, and why

Sign-in: if you create an account for the player portal or Ask Angela, your browser keeps a sign-in token so you stay logged in. It is removed when you sign out.

Cookie choice: your browser stores your accepted or rejected choice for up to 180 days. This is essential preference storage, not advertising tracking.

Google Analytics: only after acceptance, Google receives visit information such as pages visited, browser/device details, and approximate location. Analytics cookies, including _ga and _ga_ cookies, can distinguish repeat visits. We configure them to expire after 180 days. Our page-view tracking does not send form answers, email addresses, questions, or URL query parameters to Google Analytics.

Download counts: we separately count resource views, successful signups, and download clicks in our own site records. These counts do not use analytics cookies or browser identifiers and are not used for ads. Hosting may also provide traffic statistics independently of Google Analytics.

What we don't use

No Facebook or other advertising pixels. No sale of browsing data or use of Google Analytics for advertising.

Information you type in

Forms (downloads, lesson requests, questions) are covered by our Privacy Policy, not cookies.

Your choices

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Rejecting analytics stops Google Analytics and removes its cookies that this site can access. It does not erase information already sent to Google. We treat a Global Privacy Control browser signal as rejection of analytics.

You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Free downloads and pages still work, but clearing sign-in storage means you will need to sign in again.

Changes

If we change our use of cookies, we will update this policy and request permission when required.
